In the heart of Geneva.
Plainpalais is a unique crossroads in Geneva, where the buzz of a lively neighbourhood meets culture, academia and the world of business!
DIMANCHE connects to one of the largest esplanades in Switzerland, that evolves throughout the day, the seasons and the regular events that animate it.

Open culture, urban spirit.
In Plainpalais, former industrial sites have been transformed into cultural institutions, surrounded by a vibrant mix of colourful and diverse lunch spots.
Neon Parallax.
In Plainpalais, art unfolds in the open air, as illustrated by Neon Parallax, a luminous installation project from which DIMANCHE takes its name.
It is within this context that, in 2012, artist Christian Robert-Tissot chose to install the word in bold capital letters on the building’s rooftop. Since then, the sign has projected its quiet paradox across the square: an invitation to pause, in place of advertising.
